From the supplier: The National Rural Electric Cooperative Assn (NRECA) and its members have engaged in a number of educational programs designed to apprise members of cooperative directorial boards on problems pertaining to a continuously evolving industry since 1953. New and innovative methods must be introduced to this process of educating directors because of the rapidity with which change is occurring and to ensure that rural electric cooperative leaders have the skills and competencies required to function successfully in an industry that will be highly competitive in the future. Thus, NRECA has altered the certificate process and focus of director training and developed a new credentialed cooperative director curriculum in response to the latest changes affecting the sector.
