From the supplier: A study was conducted to investigate relationship between skills training and quality management. The success of corporate strategies such as Total Quality Management has been largely dependent on investments made on manpower training and skills enhancement programs. However, many modern organizations are still dependent on inspection as the mode of maintaining production quality. Companies should not be hesitant in making substantial investments enhancing skills training. Only when the entire workforce is highly skilled can Total Quality Management be implemented.
