Product Description Bennett-Alexander and Hartman's Employment Law for Business, 6/e addresses law and employment decisions from a managerial perspective. It is intended to instruct students on how to manage effectively and efficiently with full comprehension of the legal ramifications of their decisions. Students are shown how to analyze employment law facts using concrete examples of management-related legal dilemmas that do not present clear-cut solutions. The methods of arriving at resolutions are emphasized, so that when the facts of the workplace problem are not quite the same, the student can still reach a good decision based on the legal considerations required by law, which remain relevant.

Good Service July 26, 2010 Kevin Mapes (San Jose, CA, US) Book was in good shape and arrived in a timely manner. This book is used as the required text for Business Law classes.

The book had a lot of markings. These were highlighted in an orange color which made it difficult to read. The seller did not mention that the book had all these markings in it. The price of the book was too much for the condition which it was in. With twenty more dollars, I could of brought a brand new book. I had purchased a used book from another seller and the condition of the book was like a brand new book and the price of the book was very reasonable.
Great book for the non-lawyers in business February 18, 2010 Book Lady (San Francisco, CA, USA) This was my first exposure to employment law, so to speak, and this book is presented in a very easy to read manner for those of us who are not lawyers or studying to be lawyers. There are good case studies at the end to enhance one's understanding of how various elements of the Title VII laws are applied. I found it quite useful during my master's program.
